Leslie has always loved animals and has always wanted to work in the animal care field. After being laid off during the pandemic, she had time to think of what her future would look like when she went back to work. She decided it was time that she lived her dream. In January of 2022 she enrolled in the Sheridan College Animal Care program, and in August, graduated with honors. She is finally doing what she had always dreamed of. She is a self proclaimed “Crazy cat lady” and currently shares her home with her 5 cats Mojo, Indie, Tiva, Blaze and Vader. She has also made room for her husband. In her spare time she loves to travel, garden and spend time with family, especially her beautiful little granddaughter.
