Dr. Cali McAleer is a lifelong Oakville resident and is thrilled to begin her veterinary career at the Animal Hospital of Oakville. After completing her undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Guelph, she graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in June 2026. She lives with her 12-year-old Golden Retriever, Piper, who played an important role in inspiring her to pursue veterinary medicine and who remains one of the biggest joys in her life.
Cali has a particular interest in dentistry, surgery, and preventative care. What she enjoys most about veterinary medicine is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with her patients and their families, and getting to witness the special bond between people and their pets.
Outside of the hospital, Cali enjoys playing piano, running, travelling, and spending time with family and friends at the cottage.
